If you can eat foods that are closest to their natural state (no processed/junk food), those will definitely help you. For example, when you eat your meals, a good rule of thumb is to fill half your plate with vegetables/fruits, one quarter whole grains (brown rice or quinoa), and one quarter lean protein (chicken or fish). If you get hungry between meals, eat a piece of fruit. .and if you’re really hungry, you could eat a handful of almonds (about 15-30pieces) I found the easiest way to do this is to aim for eating a fruit and a vegetable with every meal. No dieter’s tea or supplements are going to be the magic fix. Weight loss will happen when you make an overall lifestyle change. Aim for at least 25 grams of fiber everyday. It’ll keep you full, and you won’t feel deprived.

Specific foods won’t help you too much. It’s just eating in moderation. Now the word moderation got some annoying goals that go with it. Like you have to not eat too many fats in your diet(oils, nuts, cheeses, things that taste greasy or are shiny or really delicious=fast foods and most restaurant foods).

Maybe eat more fruits and veggies, because most fruits don’t have any fat(save for some like avocados which are are a great deal of fat). Grams of fat contain 9 calories while grams of carbs and protein contain 4 calories (calories add up to be the calories you see on the nutrician labels on the back of foods, which you should start paying attention to, foods with lots of sugers or saturated fats or trans fats are not good).

Special diets starve your body and this is not healthy, it will make you lose weight but as soon as you are off you will probably gain back all the weight because you will return to your normal diet.

Going to the gym would help, or walking, or doing any sort of physical activity would help better with weight loss although sticking to a moderation of foods is 90% of weight loss.

Supplements are like special diets. They also do unhealthy things to your body, if you indulge in drugs and do not care of your well being then by all means, go get something good for the short term. Some will make your body hot, give you energy, while others might just make you not able to digest your food (and make a toilet your best friend). After effects and health problems while on it may not or may occur.

    Well, Good luck!

There are many many good foods you can eat that will help with weight loss. You can try fruits and veggies or other fiber filled foods that will help to suppress your appetite. Did you know you can even lose weight while being cold???

I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.

Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.

First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can’t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising…

This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it’s good for the heart.

However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It’s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I’ve found a great addition to help any one out, it’s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don’t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don’t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn’t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It’s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace.com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it’s the best pill I’ve tried and I’ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn’t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I’ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.

Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

High-protein/low-carbohydrate diets are often low in calories because food choices are strictly limited, so they may cause short-term weight loss. But a reduced-calorie eating plan that includes recommended amounts of carbohydrate, protein, and fat will also allow you to lose weight. By following a balanced eating plan, you will not have to stop eating whole classes of foods, such as whole grains, fruits, and vegetables – and miss the key nutrients they contain. You may also find it easier to stick with a diet or eating plan that includes a greater variety of foods.

    Steak

Beef has a rep as a diet buster, but eating it may help you peel off pounds. In a study published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, women on a diet that included red meat lost more weight than those eating equal calories but little beef. “The protein in steak helps you retain muscle mass during weight loss,” says study author Manny Noakes, Ph.D. Try to consume local organic beef; it’s healthier for you and the environment.

Eat more Grill or broil a 4-ounce serving of top round or sirloin; slice thinly to top a salad, or mix with veggies for fajitas.
    Eggs

Dig in to eggs, yolks and all: They won’t harm your heart, but they can help you trim inches. Women on a low-calorie diet who ate an egg with toast and jelly each morning lost twice as many pounds as those who had a bagel breakfast with the same number of calories but no eggs, a study from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge reports. “Egg protein is filling, so you eat less later in the day,” says David Grotto, R.D., author of 101 Foods That Could Save Your Life (Bantam).

Eat more Omelets and scrambles are obvious choices, but if you can’t cook before work, bake a frittata on Sunday; chill it and nuke slices for up to a week. An easy recipe: Vegetable Frittata.
    Kale

Long sidelined as a lowly garnish, this green belongs center stage on your plate. One raw chopped cup contains 34 calories and about 1.3 grams of fiber, as well as a hearty helping of iron and calcium. But kale’s earthy flavor might take some getting used to. Spinach, another nutrient powerhouse, is a milder-tasting option.

Eat more Mix chopped raw kale into cooked black beans, says Jennifer Iserloh, founder of Skinny Chef Culinary Ventures, in New York City. Or slice kale into thin strips, sauté it with vegetable broth and top with orange slices. Make it a meal by tossing the mix with quinoa.
