Immune System

The immune system is a defense mechanism by the body to prevent the entry of any outside element inside the body that has the ability to weaken the body and cause illness.

This immune system can be categorized into four broad categories: Active natural, active artificial, passive natural and passive artificial. The main agent of this immune system is the white blood cells which plays two roles. The former is to destroy the disease causing bacteria, and the latter is to memorize these bacteria, so that the body can successfully fight in the event of a second attack.

The common type of immune disorders is allergic diseases, autoimmune disease which occurs when the white blood cells fails to recognize the invading outside elements. Another category is immune complex diseases which occurs when antigens and antibodies gets interlocked in clusters. The immune deficiency disorder is caused by hereditary problems, or is a result of drugs side effect.
