Care for nails

Good fingernails are a sign of well-kept hands. There are a number of nail remedies making the rounds to help you really dress up in those denims or satins. Here’s some nail-advice and a peek into what’s happening and what’s not in nail care and the fashion industry. Nails are made up of a protein called keratin and minerals. They protect the delicate tips of our fingers and toes. We use our hands a great deal and we need to make sure that our nails are strong and well-maintained. Sometimes we may choose to wear open footwear. Our toenails therefore have to look good, strong and shiny as well.

Keep your nails trimmed short, immediately after a bath. Alternately, soak your hands and feet in warm soapy water for a while, to soften the nails, and then trim them. Using a nail file to file and shape your nails will make your nails look good and cared-for.
