Staying fit and fine

Exercise is a word that is normally associated with “staying healthy”. Exercise is a broad term. It does not always mean strenuous workouts and power yoga. Walking a mile every morning can also be termed “exercise”. In short, exercise is an activity schedule that one follows regularly in order to keep healthy; which includes mental and physical well being. Exercising is important for a human being as it helps the body to stay in shape, keeps one fit and healthy and provides the body with freshness and energy at every step of the day.

Mental exercise is also a kind of exercise. It involves honing your mental skills and improvement of thinking abilities. There are mental exercises like abacus and speed mental math for children. Sudoku is another number game that stimulates mental skills and concentration levels in children and adults alike. Yoga and meditation is another way of “exercising to stay healthy”.
