Immune System

The immune system is a defense mechanism by the body to prevent the entry of any outside element inside the body that has the ability to weaken the body and cause illness.

This immune system can be categorized into four broad categories: Active natural, active artificial, passive natural and passive artificial. The main agent of this immune system is the white blood cells which plays two roles. The former is to destroy the disease causing bacteria, and the latter is to memorize these bacteria, so that the body can successfully fight in the event of a second attack.

The common type of immune disorders is allergic diseases, autoimmune disease which occurs when the white blood cells fails to recognize the invading outside elements. Another category is immune complex diseases which occurs when antigens and antibodies gets interlocked in clusters. The immune deficiency disorder is caused by hereditary problems, or is a result of drugs side effect.

Old Age Health – Learn the art of Maturing

It is often said that age is a state of mind, but unfortunately our body seems to think otherwise. Starting from our eyes, ears, limbs & heart each and every organ seems devoid of any poetic philosophy, and hence starts troubling us with some kind of problems.
The problem ranges from cataract, glaucoma, loss of hearing, skin diseases like dermatitis and eczema, arthritis, irritable bowel syndrome, etc.

No matter how much we hate, but getting away from these problems are almost impossible, but yes we can of course age gracefully, and the best way to do that is to lead a regulated life. The first step is to be conscious about the food that we eat, indulge in some kind of some outdoor activities like golf, swimming, or walking to keep the body active, consult a doctor and get regular medical checkup. The company of friends and family and an active life is the corner stone to healthy old age life.

Medication- sometimes snatches away health sometimes gives it.

From herbs and spiritualism the history of medication has traveled a long way covering several branches like anatomy, Biochemistry, Epidemiology, Genetics, Neuroscience, Physiology to name a few.
Medication on one hand is life saving in case of life saving disease s , but at times an overdose can be life treating. The most fascinating part of modern medicines is that it acts amazingly fast and gives immediate results, but such lightening speed actions has many side effects, like premature hair loss, osteoporosis, acidity, and the worst of all a unimaginable dependency on drugs.

The world again seems to be going back to the old age of ayurveda, and Chinese touch therapy when people were healed by natural methods.

But modern allopathic medicine has become so indispensable that it is impossible to completely do away with them, but we can all pledge to stay away from them as far and as frequent as possible.
